Key Features of the Mactronic Black Eye H40

Three Light Sources & Four Operational Modes

The Black Eye H40 is designed with three independent light sources, which can be activated in four lighting modes to match varying environmental and tactical needs:
  • SPOT Mode – Focused, long-range beam for precise illumination of distant objects.
  • FLOOD Mode – Wide, evenly diffused light for close-range work and broad area visibility.
  • SPOT + FLOOD Mode – Combines both beams for maximum situational awareness.
  • RED Mode – Red light for discreet illumination, preserving night vision and reducing visibility to adversaries.
  • Double-click the power button instantly engages Boost Mode, unleashing 4000 lumens of maximum brightness for up to 2 hours. Press and hold the button to adjust brightness intensity smoothly, ensuring precise light control based on operational needs.
  • RED Mode & RED FLASHING – Tactical Stealth & Emergency Signaling
  • RED Mode minimizes eye strain and preserves night vision, making it ideal for covert operations, military patrols, and low-visibility navigation.
  • RED FLASHING Mode provides a high-visibility warning signal, enhancing safety in rescue missions, hazardous work environments, and emergency response situations.

Last Setting Memory – Intelligent Light Retention

The Last Setting Memory function retains the last-used lighting mode, ensuring seamless reactivation without reconfiguring settings. This feature enhances operational readiness, particularly in rapid-response scenarios where immediate light deployment is critical.

Unyielding Durability – Built for Extreme Environments

The Black Eye H40 is engineered to withstand harsh operating conditions:
  • Aerospace-grade aluminum body for superior impact resistance.
  • IP67-rated waterproof and dustproof design, ensuring performance in rain, snow, and muddy conditions.
  • 1.5-meter impact resistance, providing rugged durability for high-risk applications.

Extended Battery Life & Rapid USB-C Charging

Powered by a 21700 Li-Ion 3.7V 5000mAh battery, the H40 provides up to 40.8 days of continuous operation in Survival Mode, making it ideal for extended missions and remote expeditions. The Battery Level Indicator monitors real-time power status, preventing unexpected depletion in critical situations.

Adaptive Cooling Technology – Advanced Heat Management

The built-in Adaptive Cooling Technology system actively monitors and regulates the temperature of the LED control electronics, preventing components from overheating. This ensures:
  • Consistent high-output performance during prolonged operation.
  • Increased durability and extended component lifespan.
  • Safe and reliable function in extreme heat conditions.

SAFETY GUIDELINES

Safety Guidelines for Lighting Products

Safe Product Usage

  1. Use the product only as intended and follow the user manual instructions.
  2. Adhere to the recommended handling and maintenance guidelines to ensure proper operation.
  3. This product is not designed for use by children. Keep small components (e.g., batteries, accessories) out of their reach to prevent accidental ingestion or choking.

Operating and Storage Conditions

  1. Operate the product within a temperature range of -4°F to 104°F (-20°C to +40°C).
  2. Avoid exposing the product to direct sunlight, moisture, strong vibrations, solvents, chemical fumes, or other aggressive substances.
  3. Please do not use the product in explosive atmospheres unless it has appropriate certifications, such as ATEX.
  4. Please exercise caution when charging and connecting the device to the electrical network.
  5. When installing the device in a vehicle, use insulated terminals and protect the installation with a fuse.
  6. Activate the product with a transport lock during storage or transport.

Safe Handling of the Product

  1. Do not cover the product while in operation, as this may cause overheating and increase the fire risk.
  2. If the product overheats, turn it off or reduce the brightness mode to allow it to cool down.
  3. Avoid wearing headbands, wrist straps, cords, or other product components around the neck.
  4. Do not use the product as a tool, except for flashlights designed with an emergency glass-breaking function.

LEDs

  1. Never look directly into the light beam. LEDs may emit radiation classified as RG-2 according to IEC 62471, which can be harmful to the eyes.
  2. Do not direct the light onto the face, skin, or other sensitive surfaces. LED radiation in the 400–780 nm range can damage the retina or cause irreversible changes.
  3. Strobe or flashing light modes may trigger seizures in individuals with photosensitive epilepsy.

Batteries and Accumulators

  1. Do not disassemble, crush, puncture, heat, or incinerate batteries/accumulators.
  2. Do not use batteries and accumulators simultaneously or mix batteries of different brands or new and old ones. Use only batteries and accumulators compatible with the device.
  3. Charge accumulators only with dedicated chargers, within temperatures of 32°F to 104°F (0°C to +40°C).
  4. Never charge disposable batteries.
  5. Keep batteries and accumulators out of reach of children. If a battery, especially a button cell, is swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
  6. Regularly recharge accumulators if the product is unused for extended periods (at least once every 3 months).
  7. For prolonged storage, remove batteries/accumulators to prevent leakage.

Weapon-Mounted Lighting

  1. Ensure the firearm is unloaded and the action is open when installing, cleaning, or maintaining the flashlight.
  2. Activate the flashlight only with the non-trigger hand while holding the gun securely with both hands.
  3. Take precautions to prevent accidental discharges.

Area Lighting

  1. Always deploy stabilizing supports when raising the lighting mast above 3.3 feet (1 meter).
