GALAXY 3.1 Black is a professional shelter light engineered for industrial, rescue, medical, and military applications. The new black-housing version features the Advanced Dimming System (ADS), offering smooth brightness control from 1200 lm to 4500 lm for precise adjustment to task requirements and operating conditions. The system supports a linear connection of up to 15 lights within a single power circuit. Its IP66- and IK10-rated housing provides protection against dust, water, and mechanical damage. The set includes only mounting accessories: 2 steel hanging wire ropes and 2 straps with carabiners. Power cords are available separately (with an IP54 Schuko plug or an IP68 BALS Schuko plug).

Key Features of Galaxy 3.1 Black

Advanced Dimming System (ADS)

A defining feature of Galaxy 3.1 Black is its Advanced Dimming System (ADS). The system provides smooth brightness adjustment from 1200 lm to 4500 lm, giving the user precise control over light output. In practice, this means illumination can be reduced where lower output is sufficient or increased wherever full-area coverage is required.

Individual Control of Each Light

Each light in a linear setup is equipped with an individual switch and dimmer, allowing every unit to be controlled independently and set to a different brightness level as needed. This makes the system easier to adapt to actual operating requirements, improves overall flexibility, and gives the user far greater control over the lighting layout.

Linear Connection of up to 15 Lights

The Galaxy 3.1 Black system supports linear connection of up to 15 lights on a single power circuit. This makes it possible to build consistent lighting layouts in shelters, temporary halls, and larger work zones while maintaining even light distribution across the entire area. It also allows the system to be expanded without compromising usability or layout consistency.

Neutral White Light

The light emits at a 4000 K color temperature, delivering a neutral, well-balanced beam suited to technical, medical, operational, and temporary-use environments. This color temperature supports clear visibility and everyday working comfort.

Durable Construction and Long Service Life

The housing is made of aluminum and polycarbonate, combining structural strength with resistance to intensive use. IP66 and IK10 ratings confirm protection against dust, water, and mechanical damage, while the declared 80,000-hour lifespan reflects long-term, stable performance in demanding conditions.

Mounting Accessories Included, Power Cords Available Separately

The set includes mounting accessories only: 2 steel hanging wire ropes and 2 straps with carabiners. Power cords are available separately in two versions: with an IP54 Schuko plug or with an IP68 BALS Schuko plug. This allows the system to be configured to suit the installation type and operating environment.

Why Choose Galaxy 3.1 Black?

Galaxy 3.1 Black is designed for users who need more than high light output alone. It combines smooth brightness adjustment, independent control of each light, linear expansion up to 15 units, durable construction, neutral white light, and long service life in one cohesive system. The result is a shelter lighting solution built for demanding professional use in the field and in temporary facilities.

Applications of Galaxy 3.1 Black

Rescue and Medical Shelters

Galaxy 3.1 Black performs well in medical shelters, triage areas, decontamination zones, and temporary aid stations. Smooth brightness adjustment and independent control of each light make it easier to create the right lighting conditions for different tasks and stages of operation.

Temporary Halls, Technical Support Areas, and Service Zones

The model can also be used in temporary halls, mobile workshops, service areas, and technical support zones. In these environments, durability, ease of installation, and the ability to expand the lighting system as needs grow are especially important.

Camps, Field Bases, and Temporary Infrastructure

Galaxy 3.1 Black is also well suited to command shelters, field bases, temporary storage areas, and facilities used in civil defense and civil protection operations. The system can be deployed in accommodation zones, population reception points, logistics areas, and other temporary facilities established in response to emergencies, where fast setup, flexible configuration, and dependable performance matter most.

SAFETY GUIDELINES

Safety Guidelines for Lighting Products

Safe Product Usage

  1. Use the product only as intended and follow the user manual instructions.
  2. Adhere to the recommended handling and maintenance guidelines to ensure proper operation.
  3. This product is not designed for use by children. Keep small components (e.g., batteries, accessories) out of their reach to prevent accidental ingestion or choking.

Operating and Storage Conditions

  1. Operate the product within a temperature range of -4°F to 104°F (-20°C to +40°C).
  2. Avoid exposing the product to direct sunlight, moisture, strong vibrations, solvents, chemical fumes, or other aggressive substances.
  3. Please do not use the product in explosive atmospheres unless it has appropriate certifications, such as ATEX.
  4. Please exercise caution when charging and connecting the device to the electrical network.
  5. When installing the device in a vehicle, use insulated terminals and protect the installation with a fuse.
  6. Activate the product with a transport lock during storage or transport.

Safe Handling of the Product

  1. Do not cover the product while in operation, as this may cause overheating and increase the fire risk.
  2. If the product overheats, turn it off or reduce the brightness mode to allow it to cool down.
  3. Avoid wearing headbands, wrist straps, cords, or other product components around the neck.
  4. Do not use the product as a tool, except for flashlights designed with an emergency glass-breaking function.

LEDs

  1. Never look directly into the light beam. LEDs may emit radiation classified as RG-2 according to IEC 62471, which can be harmful to the eyes.
  2. Do not direct the light onto the face, skin, or other sensitive surfaces. LED radiation in the 400–780 nm range can damage the retina or cause irreversible changes.
  3. Strobe or flashing light modes may trigger seizures in individuals with photosensitive epilepsy.

Batteries and Accumulators

  1. Do not disassemble, crush, puncture, heat, or incinerate batteries/accumulators.
  2. Do not use batteries and accumulators simultaneously or mix batteries of different brands or new and old ones. Use only batteries and accumulators compatible with the device.
  3. Charge accumulators only with dedicated chargers, within temperatures of 32°F to 104°F (0°C to +40°C).
  4. Never charge disposable batteries.
  5. Keep batteries and accumulators out of reach of children. If a battery, especially a button cell, is swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
  6. Regularly recharge accumulators if the product is unused for extended periods (at least once every 3 months).
  7. For prolonged storage, remove batteries/accumulators to prevent leakage.

Weapon-Mounted Lighting

  1. Ensure the firearm is unloaded and the action is open when installing, cleaning, or maintaining the flashlight.
  2. Activate the flashlight only with the non-trigger hand while holding the gun securely with both hands.
  3. Take precautions to prevent accidental discharges.

Area Lighting

  1. Always deploy stabilizing supports when raising the lighting mast above 3.3 feet (1 meter).
  2. Do not direct the light source onto flammable surfaces during operation to avoid heat accumulation and fire hazards.

Disposal

  1. Dispose of lighting products, batteries, and accumulators by local electronic waste regulations.
  2. The crossed-out trash bin symbol indicates the obligation for separate disposal to prevent environmental pollution and facilitate material recovery.
  3. For products containing heavy metals: mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), lead (Pb), relevant chemical symbols are displayed below the bin symbol.
  4. You can return used devices and batteries free of charge at local collection points or stores with appropriate sales areas (per EU regulations).

Additional Precautions

  1. Products containing permanent magnets may pose risks to individuals with pacemakers. Always maintain a safe distance from such components.
