Key Features of the Mactronic HALO 100K Area Light

Maximum Brightness and Accurate Color Rendering

The HALO 100K boasts a power output 660W and a color rendering index (CRI) greater than 80, ensuring exceptional brightness and accurate color reproduction, which is crucial for precision tasks. Its 5000K color temperature delivers natural, eye-friendly light that supports prolonged work without causing eye strain.

Advanced Adjustment Capabilities

The HALO 100K lighting system offers dual-channel light intensity control via a remote dimmer, allowing adjustments from 10% to 100%. Additionally, the light segments can be switched in pairs (180°/360°), enabling precise lighting customization to meet the specific needs of any situation. The multi-stage angle adjustment of the light panels (up to 45°) allows for precise light direction, which is particularly useful in rugged terrain.

Durable and Resilient Construction

The HALO 100K’s housing is crafted from a robust combination of polycarbonate, aluminum, and steel, ensuring exceptional durability. With an IP65 ingress protection rating, the system is safeguarded against dust and water, while its IK08 mechanical impact resistance protects against physical damage. Thus, the HALO 100K is a reliable choice for outdoor work in harsh weather conditions.

Safety and Reliability

The HALO 100K is equipped with advanced surge protection (CM: 10kV, DM: 6kV) to shield the device from sudden voltage spikes, particularly crucial in emergencies. Its long operational life (70,000 hours) and a 5-year warranty testify to the reliability and durability of this lighting system.

Ease of Installation and Transport

The HALO 100K can be mounted on a mast with a 25-35 mm diameter or hung for flexible installation options. The head weighs only 22,7 kg, making it compact and easy to transport. The optional 4-meter-high tripod allows the lighting to be adjusted for optimal height.

Why Choose the Mactronic HALO 100K?

The Mactronic HALO 100K lighting system combines exceptional brightness, reliability, and durability. Designed to operate in the most challenging conditions, it delivers dependable light that supports professionals in carrying out critical tasks, even in the most demanding situations.

SAFETY GUIDELINES

Safety Guidelines for Lighting Products

Safe Product Usage

  1. Use the product only as intended and follow the user manual instructions.
  2. Adhere to the recommended handling and maintenance guidelines to ensure proper operation.
  3. This product is not designed for use by children. Keep small components (e.g., batteries, accessories) out of their reach to prevent accidental ingestion or choking.

Operating and Storage Conditions

  1. Operate the product within a temperature range of -4°F to 104°F (-20°C to +40°C).
  2. Avoid exposing the product to direct sunlight, moisture, strong vibrations, solvents, chemical fumes, or other aggressive substances.
  3. Please do not use the product in explosive atmospheres unless it has appropriate certifications, such as ATEX.
  4. Please exercise caution when charging and connecting the device to the electrical network.
  5. When installing the device in a vehicle, use insulated terminals and protect the installation with a fuse.
  6. Activate the product with a transport lock during storage or transport.

Safe Handling of the Product

  1. Do not cover the product while in operation, as this may cause overheating and increase the fire risk.
  2. If the product overheats, turn it off or reduce the brightness mode to allow it to cool down.
  3. Avoid wearing headbands, wrist straps, cords, or other product components around the neck.
  4. Do not use the product as a tool, except for flashlights designed with an emergency glass-breaking function.

LEDs

  1. Never look directly into the light beam. LEDs may emit radiation classified as RG-2 according to IEC 62471, which can be harmful to the eyes.
  2. Do not direct the light onto the face, skin, or other sensitive surfaces. LED radiation in the 400–780 nm range can damage the retina or cause irreversible changes.
  3. Strobe or flashing light modes may trigger seizures in individuals with photosensitive epilepsy.

Batteries and Accumulators

  1. Do not disassemble, crush, puncture, heat, or incinerate batteries/accumulators.
  2. Do not use batteries and accumulators simultaneously or mix batteries of different brands or new and old ones. Use only batteries and accumulators compatible with the device.
  3. Charge accumulators only with dedicated chargers, within temperatures of 32°F to 104°F (0°C to +40°C).
  4. Never charge disposable batteries.
  5. Keep batteries and accumulators out of reach of children. If a battery, especially a button cell, is swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
  6. Regularly recharge accumulators if the product is unused for extended periods (at least once every 3 months).
  7. For prolonged storage, remove batteries/accumulators to prevent leakage.

Weapon-Mounted Lighting

  1. Ensure the firearm is unloaded and the action is open when installing, cleaning, or maintaining the flashlight.
  2. Activate the flashlight only with the non-trigger hand while holding the gun securely with both hands.
  3. Take precautions to prevent accidental discharges.

Area Lighting

  1. Always deploy stabilizing supports when raising the lighting mast above 3.3 feet (1 meter).
  2. Do not direct the light source onto flammable surfaces during operation to avoid heat accumulation and fire hazards.

Disposal

  1. Dispose of lighting products, batteries, and accumulators by local electronic waste regulations.
  2. The crossed-out trash bin symbol indicates the obligation for separate disposal to prevent environmental pollution and facilitate material recovery.
  3. For products containing heavy metals: mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), lead (Pb), relevant chemical symbols are displayed below the bin symbol.
  4. You can return used devices and batteries free of charge at local collection points or stores with appropriate sales areas (per EU regulations).

Additional Precautions

  1. Products containing permanent magnets may pose risks to individuals with pacemakers. Always maintain a safe distance from such components.
