Key Features - Mactronic Kiros
Flood / Spot beam adjustment
Kiros allows the user to change the beam profile by sliding the head forward or backward. The Flood setting provides broad light for close-up tasks, such as repairs, packing gear, working in a car trunk, or lighting the inside of a tent. The Spot setting creates a focused beam with a beam distance of up to 220 m, useful for walking after dark, checking the surroundings, or locating points in the field.
Transparent head as an area light
The transparent head diffuses light around the flashlight, allowing Kiros to function as a small area light. Placed upright, it can illuminate a tent, camping table, technical cabinet, car interior, or a small room during a power outage.
DSS – Dual Source System
The flashlight can be powered by a 14500 Li-Ion 3.7 V 750 mAh rechargeable battery or an AA/LR6 battery. The rechargeable battery has a built-in USB-C charging port, so no separate charger is required. An AA battery can be used as a readily available backup power source when travelling, driving, or completing an emergency kit.
Operating modes and last mode memory
Kiros operates in Low, Medium, High, and Strobe modes. The Last Setting Memory function starts the flashlight in the last used mode, except for Strobe. This reduces the number of clicks when the user often works with the same light level, such as Low for close-up tasks or Medium for moving after dark.
Aluminium body and compact size
The aluminium body is resistant to 1 m drops, while the IPX4 rating protects the flashlight against splashing water. With a weight of 73.2 g and a pocket clip, Kiros is easy to carry on a pocket, belt, organizer, or in a bag.
