Key Features - Mactronic Kiros

Flood / Spot beam adjustment

Kiros allows the user to change the beam profile by sliding the head forward or backward. The Flood setting provides broad light for close-up tasks, such as repairs, packing gear, working in a car trunk, or lighting the inside of a tent. The Spot setting creates a focused beam with a beam distance of up to 220 m, useful for walking after dark, checking the surroundings, or locating points in the field.

Transparent head as an area light

The transparent head diffuses light around the flashlight, allowing Kiros to function as a small area light. Placed upright, it can illuminate a tent, camping table, technical cabinet, car interior, or a small room during a power outage.

DSS – Dual Source System

The flashlight can be powered by a 14500 Li-Ion 3.7 V 750 mAh rechargeable battery or an AA/LR6 battery. The rechargeable battery has a built-in USB-C charging port, so no separate charger is required. An AA battery can be used as a readily available backup power source when travelling, driving, or completing an emergency kit.

Operating modes and last mode memory

Kiros operates in Low, Medium, High, and Strobe modes. The Last Setting Memory function starts the flashlight in the last used mode, except for Strobe. This reduces the number of clicks when the user often works with the same light level, such as Low for close-up tasks or Medium for moving after dark.

Aluminium body and compact size

The aluminium body is resistant to 1 m drops, while the IPX4 rating protects the flashlight against splashing water. With a weight of 73.2 g and a pocket clip, Kiros is easy to carry on a pocket, belt, organizer, or in a bag.

Why choose Mactronic Kiros?

Mactronic Kiros combines a compact EDC format with practical features: Flood/Spot beam adjustment, beam distance of up to 220 m, light output of up to 600 lm, a transparent head, and DSS – Dual Source System power. It is a flashlight for everyday carry, car use, outdoor activities, technical service, and emergency kits.

Applications - Mactronic Kiros

EDC - everyday carry

Kiros fits well into an everyday carry setup. Its compact size, dual power options, adjustable Flood/Spot beam, and area light function make it useful for small repairs, car use, garage work, stairways, basements, and power outages.

Outdoor and camping

In the field, the flashlight supports both directional and area lighting. Flood mode helps when setting up camp, packing a backpack, or working around a tent. Spot mode helps illuminate a trail section or distant reference point.

Car and emergency kits

Thanks to 14500 rechargeable battery and AA battery compatibility, Kiros is a practical choice for a car compartment. It can support engine bay checks, wheel changes, searching for small items inside the cabin, or lighting the roadside.

Service, technical work, and inspections

Flood/Spot adjustment is useful for checking installations, working inside technical cabinets, reading serial numbers, identifying markings, and lighting hard-to-reach areas. Last mode memory helps reduce repeated switching during routine tasks.

  2. Avoid exposing the product to direct sunlight, moisture, strong vibrations, solvents, chemical fumes, or other aggressive substances.
  3. Please do not use the product in explosive atmospheres unless it has appropriate certifications, such as ATEX.
  4. Please exercise caution when charging and connecting the device to the electrical network.
  5. When installing the device in a vehicle, use insulated terminals and protect the installation with a fuse.
  6. Activate the product with a transport lock during storage or transport.

Safe Handling of the Product

  1. Do not cover the product while in operation, as this may cause overheating and increase the fire risk.
  2. If the product overheats, turn it off or reduce the brightness mode to allow it to cool down.
  3. Avoid wearing headbands, wrist straps, cords, or other product components around the neck.
  4. Do not use the product as a tool, except for flashlights designed with an emergency glass-breaking function.

LEDs

  1. Never look directly into the light beam. LEDs may emit radiation classified as RG-2 according to IEC 62471, which can be harmful to the eyes.
  2. Do not direct the light onto the face, skin, or other sensitive surfaces. LED radiation in the 400–780 nm range can damage the retina or cause irreversible changes.
  3. Strobe or flashing light modes may trigger seizures in individuals with photosensitive epilepsy.

Batteries and Accumulators

  1. Do not disassemble, crush, puncture, heat, or incinerate batteries/accumulators.
  2. Do not use batteries and accumulators simultaneously or mix batteries of different brands or new and old ones. Use only batteries and accumulators compatible with the device.
  3. Charge accumulators only with dedicated chargers, within temperatures of 32°F to 104°F (0°C to +40°C).
  4. Never charge disposable batteries.
  5. Keep batteries and accumulators out of reach of children. If a battery, especially a button cell, is swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
  6. Regularly recharge accumulators if the product is unused for extended periods (at least once every 3 months).
  7. For prolonged storage, remove batteries/accumulators to prevent leakage.

Weapon-Mounted Lighting

  1. Ensure the firearm is unloaded and the action is open when installing, cleaning, or maintaining the flashlight.
  2. Activate the flashlight only with the non-trigger hand while holding the gun securely with both hands.
  3. Take precautions to prevent accidental discharges.

Area Lighting

  1. Always deploy stabilizing supports when raising the lighting mast above 3.3 feet (1 meter).
  2. Do not direct the light source onto flammable surfaces during operation to avoid heat accumulation and fire hazards.

Disposal

  1. Dispose of lighting products, batteries, and accumulators by local electronic waste regulations.
  2. The crossed-out trash bin symbol indicates the obligation for separate disposal to prevent environmental pollution and facilitate material recovery.
  3. For products containing heavy metals: mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), lead (Pb), relevant chemical symbols are displayed below the bin symbol.
  4. You can return used devices and batteries free of charge at local collection points or stores with appropriate sales areas (per EU regulations).

Additional Precautions
