Key Features of the M-Fire Guardian XW

Dual Beam System

The flashlight is equipped with two beam types and two independently operated, intuitively placed switches, enabling quick and effortless selection of the appropriate lighting mode.
  • The focused beam, with a luminous flux of 240 lumens and a beam distance of up to 205 meters, is an essential tool in situations requiring precise illumination. It performs exceptionally well in smoky environments, effectively cutting through challenging visual conditions.
  • With its intense, concentrated light, the flashlight allows for thorough area scanning, identification of objects, and targeted illumination without unnecessary light dispersion.
  • The diffused auxiliary light, with a luminous output of 25 lumens, is ideal for close-range tasks. It excels when filling out documents or performing precision work, such as organizing equipment.
  • The downward-facing auxiliary light prevents glare, making it highly practical for team operations and collaborative workspaces.
The two independent switches allow the user to select the desired beam effortlessly, even when wearing thick protective gloves.
  • The switches are ergonomically placed and tactilely distinct, ensuring quick access without the need for visual confirmation.
  • The M-Fire Guardian also supports simultaneous use of both the focused and diffused beams, providing illumination ahead and at the feet simultaneously.

High-Capacity Battery & Fast Charging

The flashlight is powered by a 2600 mAh Li-Ion rechargeable battery, providing:
  • Up to 6 hours of runtime in High mode (240 lumens)
  • Up to 224 hours of operation in Survival mode
Charging is conducted via a dedicated docking station, compatible with:
  • AC power supply (230V AC)
  • Vehicle power sources (12V/24V)
This vehicle charging capability eliminates the need for an inverter, offering added convenience for rescue teams and field operators while reducing the need for additional accessories. The docking station is equipped with a charge level indicator, allowing users to monitor battery status easily. During charging, LED indicators change color from red to green, signaling the charging progress. A four-stage battery level indicator, prominently located on the top of the flashlight, allows users to track energy levels at a glance—even when the flashlight is attached to gear or clothing. This prevents unexpected power depletion during critical operations.

Durability & Ergonomic Design

  • The rubberized, textured grip enhances secure handling and impact resistance.
  • The low-profile, lightweight construction (305 g) minimizes the risk of snagging on obstacles, making it ideal for confined spaces.
  • The heavy-duty clip allows for secure attachment to clothing or tactical gear, freeing the user’s hands for other tasks.
  • The optimized balance prevents tilting downward when clipped, ensuring a stable vertical position—a feature developed in collaboration with firefighters to improve usability in real-world operations.

Water & Dust Resistance

  • IP67-rated for complete dust protection and water resistance up to 1 meter for 30 minutes.
  • The seamless housing design and high-level sealing allow for easy cleaning, even after exposure to mud, dust, or contaminants, ensuring the flashlight remains operational and ready for use.

SAFETY GUIDELINES

Safety Guidelines for Lighting Products

Safe Product Usage

  1. Use the product only as intended and follow the user manual instructions.
  2. Adhere to the recommended handling and maintenance guidelines to ensure proper operation.
  3. This product is not designed for use by children. Keep small components (e.g., batteries, accessories) out of their reach to prevent accidental ingestion or choking.

Operating and Storage Conditions

  1. Operate the product within a temperature range of -4°F to 104°F (-20°C to +40°C).
  2. Avoid exposing the product to direct sunlight, moisture, strong vibrations, solvents, chemical fumes, or other aggressive substances.
  3. Please do not use the product in explosive atmospheres unless it has appropriate certifications, such as ATEX.
  4. Please exercise caution when charging and connecting the device to the electrical network.
  5. When installing the device in a vehicle, use insulated terminals and protect the installation with a fuse.
  6. Activate the product with a transport lock during storage or transport.

Safe Handling of the Product

  1. Do not cover the product while in operation, as this may cause overheating and increase the fire risk.
  2. If the product overheats, turn it off or reduce the brightness mode to allow it to cool down.
  3. Avoid wearing headbands, wrist straps, cords, or other product components around the neck.
  4. Do not use the product as a tool, except for flashlights designed with an emergency glass-breaking function.

LEDs

  1. Never look directly into the light beam. LEDs may emit radiation classified as RG-2 according to IEC 62471, which can be harmful to the eyes.
  2. Do not direct the light onto the face, skin, or other sensitive surfaces. LED radiation in the 400–780 nm range can damage the retina or cause irreversible changes.
  3. Strobe or flashing light modes may trigger seizures in individuals with photosensitive epilepsy.

Batteries and Accumulators

  1. Do not disassemble, crush, puncture, heat, or incinerate batteries/accumulators.
  2. Do not use batteries and accumulators simultaneously or mix batteries of different brands or new and old ones. Use only batteries and accumulators compatible with the device.
  3. Charge accumulators only with dedicated chargers, within temperatures of 32°F to 104°F (0°C to +40°C).
  4. Never charge disposable batteries.
  5. Keep batteries and accumulators out of reach of children. If a battery, especially a button cell, is swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
  6. Regularly recharge accumulators if the product is unused for extended periods (at least once every 3 months).
  7. For prolonged storage, remove batteries/accumulators to prevent leakage.

Weapon-Mounted Lighting

  1. Ensure the firearm is unloaded and the action is open when installing, cleaning, or maintaining the flashlight.
  2. Activate the flashlight only with the non-trigger hand while holding the gun securely with both hands.
  3. Take precautions to prevent accidental discharges.

Area Lighting

  1. Always deploy stabilizing supports when raising the lighting mast above 3.3 feet (1 meter).
