Key Features of the Mactronic Prism headlamp

Lighting modes adapted to the mission

The headlamp reaches its maximum 650 lm output in COMBO mode, which combines focused and flood light. Additional modes include SPOT WHITE (20–300 lm) with a narrow beam reaching up to 65 m, and FLOOD WARM WHITE (10–200 lm) for wide illumination up to 25 m. The Advanced Dimming System (ADS) allows smooth adjustment from low-intensity light to full brightness.
  • RGB light – practical field support
  • Red (10 lm): preserves night vision and prevents glare, valuable for team operations.
  • Blue (5 lm): enhances map readability, makes blood traces more visible, reduces eye strain, and penetrates fog – ideal in complex field conditions.
  • Green (25 lm): does not spook animals, improves color and texture recognition, aids concentration, and has a calming effect. Useful for nature observation, map reading, and item identification.

Reliable power supply

The 3400 mAh Li-Ion 18650 battery with an integrated USB-C port provides convenience and time efficiency. PRISM runs up to 6 h 30 min at maximum output and up to 135 h in eco mode, making it suitable for both short and extended operations.

Built for tough environments

The housing meets the IPX7 rating, ensuring resistance to temporary submersion. Whether in heavy rain, mud, or high humidity, the lamp remains fully operational.

Additional user-focused functions

  • Battery charge indicator – shows the current energy level, helping plan charging and maintain readiness.
  • Phosphorescent lens – glows faintly after switch-off, making it easier to locate the lamp in low light or twilight.
  • Integrated rear magnet – enables quick attachment to metal surfaces, expanding usability in technical and service tasks.

PRISM accessory set

NVG mount for lightweight helmets – adhesive adapter for helmets without built-in mounts, ensuring quick and stable attachment during rescue operations on rubble or in hazardous areas.
  • Two head straps – a discreet tactical version and a high-visibility variant with safety yellow accents, designed for industrial environments.
  • Hard transport case – a durable case holding the lamp and accessories, protecting the equipment during transport and keeping the set ready for deployment.

Why choose Mactronic PRISM?

PRISM combines a 650-lumen white beam with additional RGB colors for tactical and rescue applications. With ADS dimming, IPX7 protection, integrated NVG mount, and a comprehensive accessory set, it is a practical and dependable lighting tool for professionals in tactical, rescue, and field operations.

Applications - Prism

Rescue operations

The NVG mount on lightweight helmets enables safe use during operations on rubble and in zones with falling debris. COMBO and FLOOD WARM WHITE modes illuminate wide action areas, while RGB light supports signaling and evacuation marking.

Uniformed services

With the integrated NVG mount, PRISM can be quickly installed on combat helmets, freeing the hands for tactical tasks. SPOT WHITE mode ensures discreet observation, while RGB modes add versatility in night patrols and field operations.

Field professionals and technicians

PRISM supports inspections, infrastructure maintenance, and fieldwork. The FLOOD WARM WHITE mode delivers even light for close-range tasks, while long run time on a single charge enables uninterrupted work during extended shifts.

SAFETY GUIDELINES

Safety Guidelines for Lighting Products

Safe Product Usage

  1. Use the product only as intended and follow the user manual instructions.
  2. Adhere to the recommended handling and maintenance guidelines to ensure proper operation.
  3. This product is not designed for use by children. Keep small components (e.g., batteries, accessories) out of their reach to prevent accidental ingestion or choking.

Operating and Storage Conditions

  1. Operate the product within a temperature range of -4°F to 104°F (-20°C to +40°C).
  2. Avoid exposing the product to direct sunlight, moisture, strong vibrations, solvents, chemical fumes, or other aggressive substances.
  3. Please do not use the product in explosive atmospheres unless it has appropriate certifications, such as ATEX.
  4. Please exercise caution when charging and connecting the device to the electrical network.
  5. When installing the device in a vehicle, use insulated terminals and protect the installation with a fuse.
  6. Activate the product with a transport lock during storage or transport.

Safe Handling of the Product

  1. Do not cover the product while in operation, as this may cause overheating and increase the fire risk.
  2. If the product overheats, turn it off or reduce the brightness mode to allow it to cool down.
  3. Avoid wearing headbands, wrist straps, cords, or other product components around the neck.
  4. Do not use the product as a tool, except for flashlights designed with an emergency glass-breaking function.

LEDs

  1. Never look directly into the light beam. LEDs may emit radiation classified as RG-2 according to IEC 62471, which can be harmful to the eyes.
  2. Do not direct the light onto the face, skin, or other sensitive surfaces. LED radiation in the 400–780 nm range can damage the retina or cause irreversible changes.
  3. Strobe or flashing light modes may trigger seizures in individuals with photosensitive epilepsy.

Batteries and Accumulators

  1. Do not disassemble, crush, puncture, heat, or incinerate batteries/accumulators.
  2. Do not use batteries and accumulators simultaneously or mix batteries of different brands or new and old ones. Use only batteries and accumulators compatible with the device.
  3. Charge accumulators only with dedicated chargers, within temperatures of 32°F to 104°F (0°C to +40°C).
  4. Never charge disposable batteries.
  5. Keep batteries and accumulators out of reach of children. If a battery, especially a button cell, is swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
  6. Regularly recharge accumulators if the product is unused for extended periods (at least once every 3 months).
  7. For prolonged storage, remove batteries/accumulators to prevent leakage.

Weapon-Mounted Lighting

  1. Ensure the firearm is unloaded and the action is open when installing, cleaning, or maintaining the flashlight.
  2. Activate the flashlight only with the non-trigger hand while holding the gun securely with both hands.
  3. Take precautions to prevent accidental discharges.

Area Lighting

  1. Always deploy stabilizing supports when raising the lighting mast above 3.3 feet (1 meter).
  2. Do not direct the light source onto flammable surfaces during operation to avoid heat accumulation and fire hazards.

Disposal

  1. Dispose of lighting products, batteries, and accumulators by local electronic waste regulations.
  2. The crossed-out trash bin symbol indicates the obligation for separate disposal to prevent environmental pollution and facilitate material recovery.
  3. For products containing heavy metals: mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), lead (Pb), relevant chemical symbols are displayed below the bin symbol.
  4. You can return used devices and batteries free of charge at local collection points or stores with appropriate sales areas (per EU regulations).

Additional Precautions

  1. Products containing permanent magnets may pose risks to individuals with pacemakers. Always maintain a safe distance from such components.
