The Mactronic Rebel is an industrial-grade headlamp designed for professional users who need efficient yet lightweight lighting. Equipped with an integrated 600 mAh Li-Po battery, the Rebel offers up to 13 hours of continuous illumination, making it perfect for extended activities. A headlamp emits a diffused light output of up to 400 lm with a beam distance of up to 33 meters. It provides adequate illumination indoors. Thanks to three types of LEDs—warm white, cool white, and signaling red—the user can adjust the light's color temperature to suit their needs.

Three Types of Light

The Rebel offers a choice between warm and cool white light, allowing you to adapt the lighting to the conditions and your preferences. Warm light is ideal for crafting and reading documentation, while cool light is more effective during inspections or repairs. The additional red light is helpful when eye adaptation to darkness is necessary, and the red pulsating mode serves as a signaling light.

Lightweight Construction and Comfort

Thanks to its lightweight design, the Rebel is an excellent choice for users who need a compact headlamp that doesn't weigh down their heads. A headlamp weighs only 48 g (without the strap) and is practically unnoticeable, even during prolonged wear. The user can adjust the headlamp's body within a 0-110 degree beam distance to direct the light output precisely.

Versatile Mounting

The Mactronic Rebel can be mounted on the head, cap, or helmet. For head mounting, a comfortable rubber adjustable strap lined with non-slip silicone bands on the inside is used. Additional accessories include a clip for mounting the headlamp on a cap's visor and a dedicated holder for helmet mounting.

Resistance to Harsh Conditions

The Rebel meets IPX4 sealing standards, protecting against splashing water from any direction. The Rebel headlamp has also been tested for resistance to electric arc effects, making it safe for working under high voltage and an excellent light source for electricians.

Safety Guidelines for Lighting Products

Safe Product Usage

  1. Use the product only as intended and follow the user manual instructions.
  2. Adhere to the recommended handling and maintenance guidelines to ensure proper operation.
  3. This product is not designed for use by children. Keep small components (e.g., batteries, accessories) out of their reach to prevent accidental ingestion or choking.

Operating and Storage Conditions

  1. Operate the product within a temperature range of -4°F to 104°F (-20°C to +40°C).
  2. Avoid exposing the product to direct sunlight, moisture, strong vibrations, solvents, chemical fumes, or other aggressive substances.
  3. Please do not use the product in explosive atmospheres unless it has appropriate certifications, such as ATEX.
  4. Please exercise caution when charging and connecting the device to the electrical network.
  5. When installing the device in a vehicle, use insulated terminals and protect the installation with a fuse.
  6. Activate the product with a transport lock during storage or transport.

Safe Handling of the Product

  1. Do not cover the product while in operation, as this may cause overheating and increase the fire risk.
  2. If the product overheats, turn it off or reduce the brightness mode to allow it to cool down.
  3. Avoid wearing headbands, wrist straps, cords, or other product components around the neck.
  4. Do not use the product as a tool, except for flashlights designed with an emergency glass-breaking function.

LEDs

  1. Never look directly into the light beam. LEDs may emit radiation classified as RG-2 according to IEC 62471, which can be harmful to the eyes.
  2. Do not direct the light onto the face, skin, or other sensitive surfaces. LED radiation in the 400–780 nm range can damage the retina or cause irreversible changes.
  3. Strobe or flashing light modes may trigger seizures in individuals with photosensitive epilepsy.

Batteries and Accumulators

  1. Do not disassemble, crush, puncture, heat, or incinerate batteries/accumulators.
  2. Do not use batteries and accumulators simultaneously or mix batteries of different brands or new and old ones. Use only batteries and accumulators compatible with the device.
  3. Charge accumulators only with dedicated chargers, within temperatures of 32°F to 104°F (0°C to +40°C).
  4. Never charge disposable batteries.
  5. Keep batteries and accumulators out of reach of children. If a battery, especially a button cell, is swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
  6. Regularly recharge accumulators if the product is unused for extended periods (at least once every 3 months).
  7. For prolonged storage, remove batteries/accumulators to prevent leakage.

Weapon-Mounted Lighting

  1. Ensure the firearm is unloaded and the action is open when installing, cleaning, or maintaining the flashlight.
  2. Activate the flashlight only with the non-trigger hand while holding the gun securely with both hands.
  3. Take precautions to prevent accidental discharges.

Area Lighting

  1. Always deploy stabilizing supports when raising the lighting mast above 3.3 feet (1 meter).
  2. Do not direct the light source onto flammable surfaces during operation to avoid heat accumulation and fire hazards.

Disposal

  1. Dispose of lighting products, batteries, and accumulators by local electronic waste regulations.
  2. The crossed-out trash bin symbol indicates the obligation for separate disposal to prevent environmental pollution and facilitate material recovery.
  3. For products containing heavy metals: mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), lead (Pb), relevant chemical symbols are displayed below the bin symbol.
  4. You can return used devices and batteries free of charge at local collection points or stores with appropriate sales areas (per EU regulations).

Additional Precautions

  1. Products containing permanent magnets may pose risks to individuals with pacemakers. Always maintain a safe distance from such components.
  2. If the device is damaged, contact an authorized service center.
  3. Entrust repairs and maintenance only to authorized service personnel.
