Key features of the Vizo RC headlamp

Four lighting modes and extended beam distance

The Vizo RC offers four lighting modes: High (410 lm) provides up to 14 hours and 20 minutes of continuous illumination, Medium (200 lm) runs for over 21 hours, and Low (25 lm) delivers discreet light for up to 76 hours. The Boost mode produces an impressive light output of 720 lumens, which is particularly useful for instantly illuminating dark areas. The beam distance reaches up to 100 meters, enabling clear visibility in open spaces and rugged terrain.

Efficient power supply and USB-C charging

The detachable 3.7 V Li-Ion battery with a capacity of 2800 mAh can be easily disconnected and carried in a backpack or clipped to a belt using the included extension cable. The USB-C port enables fast and convenient charging from a power bank or wall charger, ensuring the headlamp is always ready for the next challenge.

Mesh strap for superior comfort

The Vizo RC is equipped with a lightweight, breathable mesh head strap. This design fits securely around the head, effectively wicks away moisture, and minimizes pressure points, ensuring stable and comfortable wear even during dynamic movement or prolonged use in the field.

Rear red signal light

The battery pack features a built-in red signal light, which can operate in a constant mode (up to 40 hours) or flashing mode (up to 115 hours). This function increases the wearer’s visibility after dark and is beneficial when moving through challenging terrain.

Durable construction

The Vizo RC meets IP64 ingress protection standards, providing resistance against dust and water splashes. It withstands drops from heights of up to 2 meters, confirming its durability under demanding conditions.

Why choose the Mactronic Vizo RC?

The Vizo RC headlamp delivers dependable lighting with four selectable modes, convenient USB-C charging, and a lightweight mesh strap for exceptional comfort in the field. Its robust housing and practical red signal light make it a trusted choice for extended outdoor activities and demanding environments.

SAFETY GUIDELINES

Safety Guidelines for Lighting Products

Safe Product Usage

  1. Use the product only as intended and follow the user manual instructions.
  2. Adhere to the recommended handling and maintenance guidelines to ensure proper operation.
  3. This product is not designed for use by children. Keep small components (e.g., batteries, accessories) out of their reach to prevent accidental ingestion or choking.

Operating and Storage Conditions

  1. Operate the product within a temperature range of -4°F to 104°F (-20°C to +40°C).
  2. Avoid exposing the product to direct sunlight, moisture, strong vibrations, solvents, chemical fumes, or other aggressive substances.
  3. Please do not use the product in explosive atmospheres unless it has appropriate certifications, such as ATEX.
  4. Please exercise caution when charging and connecting the device to the electrical network.
  5. When installing the device in a vehicle, use insulated terminals and protect the installation with a fuse.
  6. Activate the product with a transport lock during storage or transport.

Safe Handling of the Product

  1. Do not cover the product while in operation, as this may cause overheating and increase the fire risk.
  2. If the product overheats, turn it off or reduce the brightness mode to allow it to cool down.
  3. Avoid wearing headbands, wrist straps, cords, or other product components around the neck.
  4. Do not use the product as a tool, except for flashlights designed with an emergency glass-breaking function.

LEDs

  1. Never look directly into the light beam. LEDs may emit radiation classified as RG-2 according to IEC 62471, which can be harmful to the eyes.
  2. Do not direct the light onto the face, skin, or other sensitive surfaces. LED radiation in the 400–780 nm range can damage the retina or cause irreversible changes.
  3. Strobe or flashing light modes may trigger seizures in individuals with photosensitive epilepsy.

Batteries and Accumulators

  1. Do not disassemble, crush, puncture, heat, or incinerate batteries/accumulators.
  2. Do not use batteries and accumulators simultaneously or mix batteries of different brands or new and old ones. Use only batteries and accumulators compatible with the device.
  3. Charge accumulators only with dedicated chargers, within temperatures of 32°F to 104°F (0°C to +40°C).
  4. Never charge disposable batteries.
  5. Keep batteries and accumulators out of reach of children. If a battery, especially a button cell, is swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
  6. Regularly recharge accumulators if the product is unused for extended periods (at least once every 3 months).
  7. For prolonged storage, remove batteries/accumulators to prevent leakage.

Weapon-Mounted Lighting

  1. Ensure the firearm is unloaded and the action is open when installing, cleaning, or maintaining the flashlight.
  2. Activate the flashlight only with the non-trigger hand while holding the gun securely with both hands.
  3. Take precautions to prevent accidental discharges.

Area Lighting

  1. Always deploy stabilizing supports when raising the lighting mast above 3.3 feet (1 meter).
  2. Do not direct the light source onto flammable surfaces during operation to avoid heat accumulation and fire hazards.

Disposal

  1. Dispose of lighting products, batteries, and accumulators by local electronic waste regulations.
  2. The crossed-out trash bin symbol indicates the obligation for separate disposal to prevent environmental pollution and facilitate material recovery.
  3. For products containing heavy metals: mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), lead (Pb), relevant chemical symbols are displayed below the bin symbol.
  4. You can return used devices and batteries free of charge at local collection points or stores with appropriate sales areas (per EU regulations).

Additional Precautions

  1. Products containing permanent magnets may pose risks to individuals with pacemakers. Always maintain a safe distance from such components.
