Key Features of the Mactronic Storm 1LP

Two Light Sources

The rear lights are in red, green, blue, and IR (infrared) colors. The front light also includes a white color option.

Light output

90 lumens (according to ANSI FL1 standards), providing illumination up to 40 meters.

Operating Modes

It has five lighting modes, including three intensity levels (High, Medium, and Low) and two strobe modes (Strobe 1 - Beacon and Strobe 2).

Power Supply

Two CR123A lithium batteries provide up to 17.5 hours of continuous operation.

Waterproof

IP68 waterproof rating, confirmed by immersion resistance tests conducted by the Military Institute of Engineering Technology, following MIL-STD 810H.

Impact Resistance

Impact-resistant from heights up to 2 meters, thanks to its durable housing reinforced with fiberglass.

Directional and Diffused Light

The front-focused light illuminates at a distance, while the rear-diffused positional light provides a 180-degree beam angle, giving the flashlight a multifunctional signaling capability.

Color Modes

Various color configurations (RGB + IR) allow the flashlight to be tailored to specific tasks, such as position marking, emergency signaling, or IFF (Friend or Foe Identification).

Rotating Head

The front part of the flashlight is adjustable vertically at a 45-degree angle, allowing for precise light output direction.

Intuitive Controls

Rotary switches with a locking function, easy to operate even with tactical gloves, prevent accidental activation of the flashlight.

Mounting

An integrated low-profile mount securely attaches the flashlight to helmets with an ARC rail, and an additional hook & loop mount allows attachment to helmets and tactical vests.

Why Choose the Storm 1 LP?

The Mactronic Storm 1LP is a reliable lighting tool designed for military and law enforcement personnel operating in extreme conditions. It meets strict military standards (MIL-STD 810H) and provides water resistance (IP68) and durability against drops from heights of up to 2 meters. With various lighting modes (including RGB + IR), IFF signaling, and Rescue Beacon functions, this flashlight is ideal for combat, rescue, and special operations.

Applications - Storm 1LP

Combat Operations

The front white light illuminates up to 40 meters during combat operations.

Simultaneous Lighting

The ability to use both front and rear lights simultaneously increases versatility.

IR Light Integration

Infrared light provides compatibility with night vision devices.

Enhanced Light Discipline

The red light mode improves observation while minimizing visibility to the enemy.

IFF Identification

The light marking of personnel is effective at checkpoints and in the field for the Friend or Foe Identification (IFF).

Emergency Signaling

Rescue Beacon emits pulsing RGB or IR light, visible from a long distance. With up to 95 hours of operation in flashing mode, it facilitates locating a casualty by rescue teams.

Casualty Evacuation

Even area illumination with RGB light options helps in TCCC (Tactical Combat Casualty Care).

Paratrooper Support

Dual front and rear lights enable navigation and group coordination during airborne operations.

Helicopter Signaling

A grommet for mounting a paracord allows for circling the flashlight to signal the helicopter crew.

Night Training Safety

Color coding increases safety during night shooting and field exercises.

Road Safety

The rear red helmet light is helpful for columns moving in traffic.

Reading Documents

Red light mode enables reading maps and documents while maintaining low light conditions.

SAFETY GUIDELINES

Safety Guidelines for Lighting Products

Safe Product Usage

  1. Use the product only as intended and follow the user manual instructions.
  2. Adhere to the recommended handling and maintenance guidelines to ensure proper operation.
  3. This product is not designed for use by children. Keep small components (e.g., batteries, accessories) out of their reach to prevent accidental ingestion or choking.

Operating and Storage Conditions

  1. Operate the product within a temperature range of -4°F to 104°F (-20°C to +40°C).
  2. Avoid exposing the product to direct sunlight, moisture, strong vibrations, solvents, chemical fumes, or other aggressive substances.
  3. Please do not use the product in explosive atmospheres unless it has appropriate certifications, such as ATEX.
  4. Please exercise caution when charging and connecting the device to the electrical network.
  5. When installing the device in a vehicle, use insulated terminals and protect the installation with a fuse.
  6. Activate the product with a transport lock during storage or transport.

Safe Handling of the Product

  1. Do not cover the product while in operation, as this may cause overheating and increase the fire risk.
  2. If the product overheats, turn it off or reduce the brightness mode to allow it to cool down.
  3. Avoid wearing headbands, wrist straps, cords, or other product components around the neck.
  4. Do not use the product as a tool, except for flashlights designed with an emergency glass-breaking function.

LEDs

  1. Never look directly into the light beam. LEDs may emit radiation classified as RG-2 according to IEC 62471, which can be harmful to the eyes.
  2. Do not direct the light onto the face, skin, or other sensitive surfaces. LED radiation in the 400–780 nm range can damage the retina or cause irreversible changes.
  3. Strobe or flashing light modes may trigger seizures in individuals with photosensitive epilepsy.

Batteries and Accumulators

  1. Do not disassemble, crush, puncture, heat, or incinerate batteries/accumulators.
  2. Do not use batteries and accumulators simultaneously or mix batteries of different brands or new and old ones. Use only batteries and accumulators compatible with the device.
  3. Charge accumulators only with dedicated chargers, within temperatures of 32°F to 104°F (0°C to +40°C).
  4. Never charge disposable batteries.
  5. Keep batteries and accumulators out of reach of children. If a battery, especially a button cell, is swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
  6. Regularly recharge accumulators if the product is unused for extended periods (at least once every 3 months).
  7. For prolonged storage, remove batteries/accumulators to prevent leakage.

Weapon-Mounted Lighting

  1. Ensure the firearm is unloaded and the action is open when installing, cleaning, or maintaining the flashlight.
  2. Activate the flashlight only with the non-trigger hand while holding the gun securely with both hands.
  3. Take precautions to prevent accidental discharges.

Area Lighting

  1. Always deploy stabilizing supports when raising the lighting mast above 3.3 feet (1 meter).
  2. Do not direct the light source onto flammable surfaces during operation to avoid heat accumulation and fire hazards.
